About New Day Repertory Company
New Day Repertory Company is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide quality experience for actors and audiences that is intellectually challenging, provocative, socially relevant, and culturally enriching. The Company performs both the classics and contemporary works. New Day remains dedicated to producing theatre that promotes racial harmony by speaking to the universal human experience. In keeping with its goal of providing professional training and performance opportunities for all actors, the company has evolved into a well-recognized pioneer in the area of non-traditional casting. Ultimately, however, the heart of New Day's mission lies in its continuous outreach to schools and community centers, as well as economically disadvantaged and culturally under- served communities in the Mid Hudson Valley and surrounding areas.
